How does it feel to be the Queen?
These portraits are the result of a series of performative actions aiming to provoke and question how each of us would have felt if we were born into the royal family and would have become the monarch.

Over 175 people of all ages took part in a performative action, sitting for a photographic portrait wearing a replica of the Imperial State Crown, considering which emotions to expose or conceal, when posing and pondering... 'If I Were The Queen'.

The actions took place in London during May and June 2012 at the Art Car Boot Fair, Herrick Gallery and on the streets of Tufnell Park.

Che cosa si prova ad essere la Regina?
Questi ritratti sono il risultato di una serie di performance intese a esplorare il destino del monarca e a immaginare quali sentimenti accompagnano il ruolo di chi è nato in una Famiglia Reale.
Più di 175 persone di ogni età hanno posato per un ritratto fotografico, incoronati con una perfetta replica della Imperial State Crown, cercando di entrare nel ruolo e di considerare quali emozioni esporre e quali nascondere ...'If I Were The Queen' (Se Io Fossi La Regina).
L'azione si è svolta a Londra in maggio e giugno 2012 alla Art Car Boot Fair, nella Herrick Gallery e per strada vicino all'entrata della metropolitana di Tufnell Park.
